Multi surface use roller & burnishing tool is a single lightweight, compact tool that can achieve a mirror finishing on inner and outer surfaces, edge faces, etc., and improve surface quality.

The Multi-Surface Single Roller Burnishing Tool is designed to be positioned in the boring station of an NC/CNC machine. It features excellent versatility, eliminating the need for different tools for various work sizes.
Highly finished superior grade carbide rollers are used with precision assembly arrangement. The burnishing force can be adjusted using spring arrangements according to the diameter and material of the job. The path of the burnishing tool is then programmed to identical to that of the cutting tool used prior to burnishing. The Multi-Surface Tool has a unique design which permits the burnishing roller to be spring loaded in two directions. Just by changing the orientation of the tool holding the respective surfaces can be burnished to achieve lower surface finish. This allows the roller to exert a uniform pressure on the part regardless of the part’s shape.

Most outside diameters, bar ends & inside diameters greater than 2.5 inches can be burnished automatically after boring or turning. In addition, fillets, contours, radii or shoulders can be automatically burnished by machine programming.
