For cost savings in mind, all of manufacturers want to use a roller burnishing tool to complete the processing of all surfaces and all dimensions of a workpiece, which is called universal burnishing tool. Today, we will take the universal burnishing tool of RBT as an example to show how to use it to complete the processing of all surfaces of the workpiece (Inner Holes Surface, Outer Shaft Surface, and Two End Faces Surface)
Workpiece Profile:
Workpieces Material: Anti-friction Grey Cast Iron with Spherical Graphite
Workpieces Hardness: 28HRC
Processing Requirements as below (Burnishing Ranges):
1) Inner Hole: φ28mm – φ51mm
2) Outer Shaft: φ25.5mm – φ51.5mm
3) 2 End Faces surface burnishing

How to process all sides of workpiece with one Universal Burnishing Tool?
Universal Burnishing Tool is from RBT, which is recommended to process above workpieces:
Processing Procedure:
First, the workpiece is initially attached through the inner hole. It allows you to handle three sides (outside shaft and both ends.); next, the workpiece is fixed for the outer shaft surface, so the inner is processed.
(Note: In places of fixing, the workpiece using elastic pads, so as not to spoil the polished surface.)
